Continuing Education

The ”traditional” way of continuing education is usually open to anyone, and is intended for people who already hold a previous degree and wants to pursue higher education. This can happen in two ways: through credit courses or non-credit courses.

Those who continued their education and qualified will be issued with a certificate. Licensing bodies impose continuing education requirements on members who hold licenses to practice within a particular profession. All these requirements are intended to encourage professionals to expand their knowledge base and stay up-to-date on new developments. Depending on the field, these requirements may be satisfied through seminar attendance or conference, extension courses, and college or university coursework.

This may either be through credit courses (applicable towards a degree) or non-credit courses (usually for private enjoyment). Typically the sole obstacle to admission is that the ability to get the individual courses and programs.
